Quality Manager with a future in renewable energy

Gällivare PhotoVoltaic AB (publ), GPV, is active within the solar power industry. The company is one of the largest producers of Solar Power Modules in Scandinavia today. GPV is growing and is estimated to have a turnover of approximately 630 million SEK with good profitability.

With advanced technology and with continuous investment in product development GPV is a market leader within the industry for Solar Power Modules. GPV’s production is highly automated and is supervised by well trained staff using the most modern production equipment. The main part of GPV’s products is exported, mainly to Germany but also to the Iberian Peninsula. The company has its production facility in Swedish Lapland, about 100 km north of the Arctic Circle. The pure environment together with advanced technology makes Gällivare the ideal site for production and of clean energy technology – Solar Power Modules. The company is owned by the Swedish investment company Borevind AB (publ) (65%) and by the German solar power company SolarWorld AG (35%).

As the Quality Manager you will have a key role in a company in a fast international growing market. You will monitor, maintain and ensure that external requirements on the management system are met. You will ensure that environmental requirements are met according to current laws and regulations. You will support the organisations process development and fulfil its goals and make sure that routines and instructions are established, implemented and maintained. You will lead and drive GPV’s quality and environmental work which requires a proactive approach.

You will ensure that the customer’s requirements are endorsed within the complete organisation. You will plan and implement internal revisions. You will work closely with the purchasing department and assist with supplier assessments. Furthermore you will be the organisations contact for the company health service and responsible for staff security, work environment and fire regulations in co-operation with other managers.

GPV is working with management system SS EN ISO 9001:2000 and SS EN ISO 14001:2004. You will have experience from similar work preferably in an international environment and from the production industry. You will strive for continuous improvements and will have great possibilities to develop the environment and quality work within the organisation.

It’s presumed that you have a relevant University degree and experience from similar duties in a leading position. Good knowledge in English is a requirement, preferably also in Swedish and German. You are a good communicator with great social skills, internal and external, both written and spoken language. The position as the Quality Manager requires that you live in or nearby Gällivare, which offers rich opportunities for an active life near the nature – all year around.
