SwedModule – Swedish technology you can trust The use of advanced technology together with continuous product development makes GPV a market leader within the industry for solar energy products – the SwedModule. GPV’s production is highly automated and supervised by qualified staff using the most modern machinery and in a controlled environment. GPV has its production plant in Swedish Lapland, about 100 km north of the Arctic Circle. The pure environment together with advanced technology makes Gällivare the ideal site for production and of clean technology and Solar Power Modules. As a specialist manufacturer of Solar Power Modules all our production development is focused on promoting a clean energy technology which contributes to a cleaner world for us and our children. GPV only use high quality raw materials from leading suppliers. Depending on size, every module consists of 36 to 72 multicrystalline or monocrystalline cells. The cells are encased in high transmission low-iron tempered glass, multi-layers of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) as well as Tedlar film. This provides the modules with top-quality protection against external environmental effects. GPV’s Solar Power Modules also have bypass diodes to minimise power loss in case of shading. During the production process the modules pass several quality control check points and they are carefully checked and tested prior to delivery. The final test takes place in a solar simulator, where the modules are tested under Standard Test Conditions (STC 1000W/m²). Every modules serial number and its test data are stored in a database. All our Solar Power Modules are in compliance with the essential requirements of IEC 61215: 04.1993, EN 61215: 04. 1995, TÜV Spec TZE/2.572.09 (Safety Class II). On all standard products GPV offer a product guarantee of two years and a 25 year output warranty which means we guarantee 80 % power output after 25 years |
